DIN HV Fuses
DIN HV fuses are partial-range high voltage current-limiting fuses for use in distribution circuits from 2.3 - 38kV. They are complete with striker, suitable for protecting apparatus and equipment against the thermal and dynamic effects of short-circuits.
Compact dimensions and non-venting characteristics make DIN fuses ideal for restricted enclosures. They possess excellent short circuit performance and ideal low overcurrent clearing capability. When used in combination with fusible switches with fuse-activated trip feature, full range clearing capability is achieved.
True full-range fuses are available in certain voltage and amp ranges. These fuses can be used in transformer protection even where there is no secondary LV protection, provided they are used with fuse switches fitted with instantaneous striker tripping.
